Your Health
NuGenesis Farm, Inc. is committed to re-teaching communities across the globe how to incorporate “food as medicine” into the daily diet to prevent disease.
As the first of its kind, the farm is a model for growing foods that have anti-inflammatory and angiogenesis-balancing properties. The diseases listed below share a dependence on inappropriate blood vessel growth to either nourish disease or hinder the body’s fight against disease. Decades of research have concluded that certain foods are able to assist the body in controlling the healthy growth of blood vessels.
It is estimated that 78% of healthcare expenditures are directed at treating these and other chronic diseases. ”Food as medicine” can help target approximately 70 different chronic diseases including:
- Cancer
- Alzheimer’s Disease
- Parkinson’s Disease
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Osteoporosis
- Asthma
- Ulcers
- Lymphoedema
- Infertility
- Lou Gehrig’s Disease
- Crohn’s Disease
- Glaucoma
- Psoriasis
- Stroke
- Diabetic Neuropathy
- Vascular Dementia
- Nasal Polyps
- Bone/Cartilage Destruction
With a better understanding and practice of incorporating the correct foods into our daily diet, communities have an excellent opportunity to improve their overall health, reduce health care costs and improve disease outcome.
